Centre Mount Power Elevating Legrest

Magic Mobility offers two types of power legrests. Centre Mounted Power Elevating and powered Swingaway. Our brand new Centre Mount Power Elevating legrest features:

• A quieter and 60% more powerful actuator, with the motion to full extension completed in nearly half the time compared with our previous CMPE legrest
• Footplates and calf pads that articulate as a unit to allow for superior support of the legs
• Footplates and calf pads that are individually height and angle adjustable, and these adjustments can be made with the user seated in the chair
• Footplates with inbuilt side and heel supports, as well as soft rubber footplate inserts which are easily removeable for cleaning
• Thinner calf pads that allow the legrest to hug tighter to the base in the closed position. Combined with the compact flip up footplate, this offers the user the closest possible chair access distance when the footplates are closed
• The new design also allows an extra 30mm of ground clearance compared with the previous design
• Available in shorter, medium and longer length options to suit individual needs, and calf pads that come in standard or bariatric sizes
• Footplates come in standard, paediatric and transfer tilt types, all with removable rubber inserts. There are also neoprene footplate covers available
• Easy swap out replacement if the legrest sustains any damage

Whilst our new CMPE legrest is not available on the Extreme X8, the original version CMPE can still be fitted. When coupled with the power recline function, these legrests enable you to reach an effective lie-down position. A fantastic option for managing pressure care and keeping you comfortable in your chair all day long!
